program of events. This program is subject to change or alteration
without notice.
Freds Pass Rural Show enters its 32nd year and attracts many
international, national and intra-Territory visitors and participants.
2010 promises to be an exciting event. As in 2098, we will continue
the components that encourage greater participation by our young
people, particularly those in the rural and remote areas of the
Northern Territory. Many components which were introduced in 2009
will again be featured in the 2010 Show including:
PERFORMING ARTS
Young people between the age of 10 to 25 years showcased their
talents and achievements to the wider community in 2010.
This component will again feature in 2010 show program.
A comprehensive information kit is currently being developed for
distribution to government and private schools within the Territory.
Advertising will also support these programs to encourage participation
by youth groups and oter interested parties.
EXHIBITIONS/ DISPLAYS
2009 saw over 200 companies, government organisations and community
groups exhibit at the Show. Both government and private sector
will be encouraged to exhibit at the Show however the focus will
be on interactive displays.
The cost of exhibiting will be incorporated into an overall sponsorship
package for organisations who are interested in exhibiting goods
and services. Alternatively a-site-only cost will be available
for potential exhibitors/participants.

WORKSHOPS
2010 will see workshops continue in the program of events. Workshops
may include
Instructors from each of these disciplines will offer participants
the chance to learn about each topic in an interactive manner.
That is, the participants will have the chance to become actively
involved rather than simply listening to lecture-style instructions.
The workshops are open to everyone from all age groups.
It is hoped that participants will be encouraged to further explore
the social or professional opportunities offered to each area
